Actually they will get the benefit of four percent dearness allowance. The figures have been fixed for this. Actually, the figures of AICPI index have been released by the Labor Ministry. After the release of May figures, it has been decided that dearness allowance for central employees can be increased by 4 percent. Along with this, they will get the benefit of 46 percent dearness allowance.

May AICPI data released

Tell that at present dearness allowance at the rate of 42 percent is being made available to central employees. The AICPI figure has once again seen an increase in May. The AICPI CPI-IW figures for May 2023 recorded an increase of 0.5 points. With which it has increased to 134.7. Along with this method, a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance for the central employees for the next half-year is being considered as fixed.

46% increase in DA forecast

Earlier, under the AICPI data till April, the score of increase in dearness allowance was 45.06 with 134.2 points. Due to the increase in the figures of May, the percentage of inflation has increased to 45.57%. In such a situation, there is a forecast of 46% growth. However, official confirmation is yet to be made.

Please tell that at present the dearness allowance of central employees is being given the benefit of 42%. These figures are for January to June 2023. Although the government increases the dearness allowance twice in a year, for January and July 6th dearness allowance is increased. At the same time, more than one crore employees and pensioners are given the benefit of dearness allowance and dearness relief.

It was being speculated that the dearness allowance could be increased by 4 percent for the next half year, with which the rate of dearness allowance would increase to 46%. Salary will increase so much

The hike for the next half year will be applicable from 1st July 2023. The same possibility is being expressed that arrears will be paid for this. At the same time, this year’s second increase in dearness allowance will be recorded. Along with this, an increase of ₹ 27312 will be seen in the annual salary of the employees while ₹ 2276 will be provided as dearness allowance every month. If the basic salary of the employees is Rs 18,000, then the dearness allowance can be increased to Rs 720. In the same year, an increase of Rs 8640 can be seen in it.
