Demand for inclusion in GST
When the prices of petrol and diesel skyrocketed, the demand for this was increasing so that they should be included in the GST so that their prices could be drastically reduced. According to an estimate, if the price of petrol comes in GST, it can suddenly come to 75 rupees a liter. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has even said that he is ready for this to be discussed in the GST Council. But right now it does not seem so easy and the final decision has to be taken by the GST Council.
