Meanwhile, a big change is also being seen in the prices of petrol and diesel issued by the government oil companies on Monday morning. However, even today there is no change in the prices of oil in big cities like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, petrol has become costlier by 47 paise in Noida and has gone up to Rs 97.00 a litre, while diesel has gone up by 45 paise to reach Rs 89.75 a litre. Petrol has become cheaper by 10 paise and is being sold at Rs 96.47 a liter in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Diesel has also become cheaper by 9 paise here and has become Rs 89.72 a litre. In Haryana’s Gurugram, petrol has fallen by 21 paise to Rs 96.85 a litre, but diesel is being sold 5 paise costlier at Rs 89.85 a litre.
Talking about crude oil, in the last 24 hours, there is a big drop in its prices. The price of Brent crude is increasing to $ 79.50 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also reached $75.08 per barrel in the global market.

New rates are released every morning at 6 am
There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
