New Delhi: The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) allows its subscribers to withdraw from the EPF account. EPF member must update their existing bank account with PF account for withdrawal from their PF account without any hassle. Many times EPFO members have locked the bank account linked to the PF account and forgot to link the new account to the PF account.

EPF Withdrawal Online: Withdraw money from PF Account online at home, know what is the process
Step 1. First go to the Unified Members Portal and log in with a username and password.
Step 2. Now click on the Manage tab.
Step 3. Select ‘KYC’ from the drop down menu.
Step 4. Now select the bank and fill in the bank account number, name and IFSC code (IFSC code) and click ‘Save’.
Step 5. Once this information has been approved by the employer, the approved KYC section will appear and thus your new bank account information will be updated with the EPF account.

Subscribers can also check their EPF balance through the EPFO portal. Let’s know about its step by step process.
Step 1. In this, the member has to first go to www.epfindia.gov.in.
Step 2. Now you have to click on ‘For Employees’ option from ‘Our Services’ tab.
Step 3. Now you have to click on ‘Member Passbook’ from the ‘Services’ tab.
Step 4. Now you have to enter your UAN and password to login and you will be able to see the passbook of your PF account.
Here your account should be tagged with your UAN. Also, your UAN must be activated by the employer. Subscribers can also print out passbooks from this portal.
