Employee Provident Fund (EPF) is very important for the employed people. Usually, the EPF account of the employee also changes when the job is changed. In such a situation, people have many PF accounts and all of them have money deposited in them.
If you are also among those employees who have more than one PF account, then there is no need to worry. Actually, online EPF transfer is also provided by EPFO. Through this, you can transfer money from your old EPF account. Its method is very easy. Let’s understand step by step how you can transfer money from your old EPF account to the new one.
For this, first you have to visit the official ‘Unified Member Portal’ of EPFO. Log in using UAN and password here.
– After this, the Dashboard will open, there will be ‘Online Services’ category. In this category, the option of ‘One Member – One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’ will be seen.
After clicking this option, verify the personal information related to the current appointment and the PF account.
– After clicking on the Get Details option, you will see PF account details of the previous company.
– Now select your old or new company to validate the transfer in the next step.
After completion of this process, OTP will come on your registered mobile number which has to be submitted.
After this whole process, you have to submit a self-attested copy of the online transfer application to the chosen company or institution. During the Corona epidemic, employees can do this through request mail or the company’s portal. Only after approval, money will come in your selected account.
