PM-KISAN 18th Installment Date 2024: There is good news for the farmers who are eagerly waiting for the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. According to reports, this installment can be released in October 2024. Earlier, the 17th installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2024. Prime Minister Modi released more than Rs 21,000 crore as the 17th installment to more than 9.26 crore farmers in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on June 18, 2024. The 16th installment was released in February this year.
Benefits of PM-KISAN scheme
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 2,000 every four months, i.e. Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is given in three installments — April-July, August-November, and December-March. This fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The scheme was announced by the then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in the interim budget of 2019 and later launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has now become the world’s largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
e-KYC required for installment
To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers have to complete their e-KYC process. According to the official website of the scheme, eKYC is mandatory for farmers registered in PMKISAN. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKISAN portal, or the nearest CSC centers can be contacted for biometric eKYC.
Beneficiaries check their status
Visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Know Your Status’ tab.
Enter your registration number, captcha code and select the ‘Get Data’ option.
Your status will be visible.
Check name in beneficiary list:
Visit the official website of PM Kisan www.pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Beneficiary list’ tab.
Select the state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
Click on ‘Get report’.

How to apply for PM Kisan Yojana:
Visit pmkisan.gov.in.
Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ and enter the Aadhaar number.
