PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 19th Installment: The 19th installment will be released in the account of eligible farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi on Monday, February 24. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 19th installment of PM-Kisan at a function in Bhagalpur, Bihar. During this, about Rs 22,000 crore will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers. The government gives Rs 2,000 every 4 months to every beneficiary under the PM Kisan Yojana to increase the income of farmers. In this way, a total of Rs 6,000 is given annually in 3 equal installments.
Chauhan said that the number of beneficiaries in the 18th installment was 9.6 crores, which has now increased. The 18th installment was released by PM Modi on 5 October 2024 from Washim, Maharashtra. The government has so far given a total of Rs 3.46 lakh crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. After the release of the 19th installment next week, this amount will increase to Rs 3.68 lakh crore.

The PM-Kisan scheme was launched in February 2019 and became effective on 1 December 2018. It is the world’s largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme and has helped farmers meet expenses for purchasing seeds and fertilizers. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government is committed to increasing production, reducing the cost of cultivation, increasing farmers’ income and encouraging natural farming.
How to check name in the list of beneficiary farmers
- Go to the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
- Scroll down to ‘Farmers Corner’.
- Click on the Beneficiary List tab.
- Enter your state, district, sub-district, block and village details.
- Click on Get Report.
After this the names present in the list will be revealed. If your name is not in the list, then you can register your complaint by calling the PM Kisan Samman helpline 011-24300606. Remember that the government has made e-KYC (electronic KYC) mandatory so that the benefits of the scheme reach the right farmers. If your Aadhar card is linked to the mobile number, then you can do e-KYC through OTP by visiting the PM Kisan portal. If the mobile number is not linked, then you can go to the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) and get e-KYC done through fingerprint verification.
