PM Kisan: 2.40 crore farmers of UP got money, government gave more relief, announced this

Presenting the budget (UP Budget 2021) on Monday, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna of Uttar Pradesh government said that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme, about 2.40 crore farmers of the state have got a payment of 2000 rupees. Under this scheme, about 27 thousand 123 crore rupees have been sent to farmers’ account. This money has been sent to the farmers’ account under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.

Scheme started to increase farmers’ income

While presenting the budget, the Finance Minister said that the Uttar Pradesh government is making every effort to double the income of farmers by 2022. Keeping this in mind, the government has decided to start a self-sufficient farmers’ coordinated committee scheme. Under this scheme, work will be done to identify high-yielding crops under agroclimatic zones and increase investment in new technology. At the same time, under this scheme, work will be done to form a farmer production organization at the block level. 100 crore rupees have been given in the budget for this scheme.

About 6 lakh such cases have been reported in Tamil Nadu and out of this, 158.57 crore rupees have been recovered. So far 16 FIRs have been registered in Tamil Nadu and more than 100 people have been arrested. 7,000 farmers in Gujarat have been disqualified for this scheme.
