Now in Rajasthan, farmers will get 9 thousand rupees annually under this scheme. The central government gives six thousand rupees annually. 3 thousand rupees will be given by the Rajasthan government.
Finance Minister Diya Kumari, while referring to the support given to farmers by PM Kisan Yojana, announced further increase in it. She said, ‘This year Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma ji had increased the amount of PM Kisan in the interest of farmers, I announce to increase it further to 9 thousand rupees per year from next year.’ The MLAs of the ruling party welcomed this scheme by clapping.
Last year, the amount was increased by 2 thousand rupees
Last year, the Rajasthan government had increased the amount received under the PM Kisan Yojana by 2 thousand rupees. In June last year, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had announced to give an additional 2 thousand rupees annually from the state government under this scheme. Now the Finance Minister has increased it by another thousand rupees.
Announcement to give 12 thousand rupees in the Sankalp Patra
In the 2023 assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party had announced to give 12 thousand rupees annually to the farmers in its Sankalp Patra. 6 thousand rupees are given by the central government, while 6 thousand rupees annually were also announced by the state government. The state government will give 3 thousand rupees from its side from the next financial year. In the coming years, the government can increase this help to a total of 12 thousand rupees.
