New Delhi. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started by the Central Government. Under this scheme, farmers get an amount of Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is given in installments. There are 3 installments in a year. The government released the 14th installment on July 27 and the 15th installment on November 15. Now the farmers are waiting for the 15th installment.
This scheme has been started for all the farmers of the country. Still many farmers are not able to take advantage of this scheme. Farmers of any category can easily avail the benefits of this scheme sitting at home.
What is PM Kisan Samma Nidhi Yojana
PM Kisan (PM-Kisan) has been started to provide financial assistance to all the farmers in the country. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 is given annually to farmer families. This amount is available in three installments of Rs 2000 every four months. According to the official website of PM Kisan, eKYC is mandatory for farmers to avail the benefits of this scheme. Apart from this, they will also have to get their land verified.
When will the 16th installment of PM Kisan come?
According to PM Kisan Yojana, one installment is released every four months. On 15 November 2023, the 15th installment had arrived in the accounts of the farmers. In such a situation, it is now expected that the 16th installment will come to the farmers’ accounts between February and March. At present, no date has been fixed for the 16th installment.
How to apply for PM Kisan Yojana
- You have to go to the official portal of PM Kisan.
- After this go to Farmer’s Corner.
- Now click on New Registration.
- After this you have to select either Rural Farmer Registration or Urban Farmer Registration.
- Now enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, select state and click on Get OTP.
- After this you have to enter the OTP received on the mobile.
- Now enter the remaining information.
- After entering all the information, do Aadhaar verification.
- After this you will have to enter the information of your land. For this you will have to upload documents.
- Now you submit. In this way, successful registration of PM Kisan Yojana will be done.
