Under which scheme will the money be given?
Let us tell you that the Bihar government has taken this decision for the farmers. The state government has decided to give Rs 6500 per acre to increase the income of the farmers. Farmers will get this money under the Organic Corridor Scheme.
Will get money per acre
A target has been set for organic farming in 20 thousand acres, for which it has been decided to give this money per acre to the farmers to encourage and take it forward.
Farmers will get training
The state government has taken this decision to promote organic farming. If you do this farming even after this year i.e. next year also, then Rs 6500 per acre will be given for a maximum of two and a half acres. Apart from this, special training will also be given to the farmers for this.
2 training programs will be run
To encourage organic farming, it has been decided to run 2 training programs at the state level. Apart from this, the state government will make progressive farmers visit outside the state as well. Apart from this, money will also be available for Soil Test, Registration, Packaging, Labeling and Branding.
In which cities will farming take place?
Let us tell you that organic farming will be done in Bihar’s Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger, Katihar, Vaishali, Saran and Samastipur. Giving information, the Agriculture Department has told that if the farmers do not do organic farming even after taking advantage of the scheme, then those people will be put in the black list.
