17th Indian Cooperative General Conference organized
Meanwhile, the 17th Indian Cooperative General Conference was organized in Delhi on Saturday. Home Minister Amit Shah also participated along with PM Modi on this occasion. During this, PM Modi has said a big thing about the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana.
‘Everyone’s effort is necessary to achieve the goal’
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, ‘Many congratulations to all of you on the 17th Indian Cooperative General Conference. I welcome and congratulate you in this conference. Today our country is working on the goal of a developed and self-reliant India and I have told from the Red Fort that everyone’s efforts are necessary to achieve our every goal.
‘Decided to give great strength to cooperatives’
The Prime Minister further said, ‘When it came to achieving the goals of a developed India, we decided to give a big boost to cooperatives and for the first time, we created a separate ministry for cooperatives and made a provision for a separate budget.’
‘Issues pending for years being resolved expeditiously’
He further said, ‘Not only this, issues pending for years in this area are being resolved rapidly. Our government has also strengthened cooperative banks, but this situation has completely changed in the last 9 years. Today crores of small farmers are getting PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. No middleman, no fake beneficiary.
‘There is very little help from the government’
According to PM Modi, ‘Before the year 2014, the farmers of the country often used to say that they get very little help from the government and whatever little help they got, it used to go into the accounts of middlemen. In such a situation, the small and medium farmers of the country were deprived of the benefits of government schemes.
