Atmanirbhar Bharat Yojana
Let us inform that the government is giving Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to the members of PM Kisan under Atmanirbhar Bharat Yojana. Easy and cheap loan is available on this card. But it is necessary that the loan repayment should be done by the due date. After that, you will have to pay more interest.
Loan Repayment
Three percent more interest will not have to be paid from the loan repayment. KCC money has to be returned to the bank along with interest on the due date. Otherwise, the bank charges 7 percent interest instead of 4 percent. Since its last date has been extended this year, the farmers have got some relief.
Because of Corona
Last year due to Corona, the central government had twice extended the date for depositing the loan amount on the Kisan Credit Card. It was extended from the due date 31 March 2020 to 31 May 2020. Then it was changed to 31 August 2020. This year in 2021 also, the government has given a moratorium of 3 months. Everyone will have to deposit the loan amount by June 30.
Loan up to Rs 3 lakh from KCC
Farmers are given loans up to Rs 3 lakh from KCC. The interest on the loan is 9 percent, but the government gives 2% subsidy on KCC. With this, the farmer gets a loan on KCC at 7 percent interest. If the farmers repay the loan ahead of time, then they get a rebate of up to 3 percent on the interest, that is, the total interest remains 4 percent.
These banks will make KCC
Farmers who want to make KCC can apply in Co-operative Banks, Regional Rural Banks, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of India and Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) .
