PM Kisan Big Update Thousands of farmers of the district are not getting the amount of the scheme. Those farmers who have given correct information related to bank account, Aadhaar number and land while applying, the amount of the scheme is coming into their account. But there are some farmers who have made mistakes while applying and their money is stuck.
PM Kisan Yojana Big Update The funds given by the Central Government under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are given to the farmers to meet the costs of farming and improve their standard of living. Till now, the applications of a total of 3 lakh 18 thousand 152 farmers of the district have been finally approved. Out of these, e-KYC of 2 lakh 91 thousand 35 farmers has been completed so far. Due to the remaining 27 thousand 117 farmers of the district not having e-KYC, the amount of this scheme is not going into their accounts. Whereas the 15th installment of the said scheme has been sent to the accounts of the farmers in November itself.
Six thousand rupees are available in three installments of two thousand rupees each.
To the beneficiary farmers of the said scheme, a total assistance amount of Rs. 6,000 is given to the farmers’ bank account through DBT in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each every year. This scheme of the Central Government has brought prosperity in the lives of farmers. With the amount received from the said scheme, farmers are getting help in providing fertilizers, seeds and to some extent irrigation also.
The case of many farmers is pending
Thousands of farmers in the district are not getting the scheme amount. Those farmers who have given correct information related to bank account, Aadhaar number and land while applying, the amount of the scheme is coming into their account. But there are some farmers who have made mistakes while applying and their money is stuck. Apart from this, the farmers who have received assistance under the scheme by giving wrong information.
However, the amount is being recovered from ineligible farmers. Instructions have been given to recover Rs 13 crore 9 lakh 78 thousand from 8,221 such ineligible farmers in the district. For this, notice has also been issued to all the above mentioned farmers in the District Agriculture Department. Out of which till now Rs 36 lakh 18 thousand has been recovered from 329 ineligible farmers. Whereas Rs 12 crore 73 lakh 60 thousand still remains to be recovered from 7,892 farmers.
E-KYC not done for 27,117 farmers (PM Kisan Yojana e-KYC)
3 lakh 18 thousand 152 farmers are registered for the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Out of which, till now e-KYC of 2 lakh 91 thousand 358 farmers has been completed. Whereas e-KYC of 27 thousand 117 farmers is pending. Out of these, 2,91,035 farmers have also received the amount of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana after completing e-KYC.
What do the officials say?
So far, e-KYC of 92 percent farmers has been done for the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Whereas e-KYC of 8 percent farmers is still pending. To get the e-KYC done for the farmers, 360 farmer advisors have been made rural nodal officers, who will get the e-KYC done for the remaining farmers of each village. – Lalan Kumar Chaudhary, District Agriculture Officer Madhubani
