The Modi government is considering doubling the amount received under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

The Modi government at the Center is contemplating doubling the financial help received under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. It is reported that farmers coming under PM kisan can get an installment of Rs 4000 instead of Rs 2000. If media reports are to be believed, then the Modi government can double the amount received by the farmers. If this happens, farmers can get Rs 12000 in three installments every year instead of Rs 6000.
According to reports, Bihar Agriculture Minister Amarendra Pratap Singh recently met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman (FM niramala sitharaman) in Delhi, in which the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan installment) will be available. Doubling the amount has also been discussed. However, no decision has been taken on this yet.
