20,000 crores will be released to about 10 crore farmers under the eighth installment of PM Kisan Nidhi Scheme. Farmers are eagerly waiting for the money.
Farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the eighth installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. But so far no program has been officially announced on which date the money will be released. Usually the money was released till the 25th, but this time the wait increased considerably. But Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary said in a conversation with TV-9 Digital, “Money can be released by the end of this month or by the first week of May.”
Actually, every four months, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself releases the money of this scheme for the farmers. But it is being told that in view of the worsening situation on the assembly elections of five states and here on Kovid-19, no program could be made for it so far. Usually installments are released in December, April and August. But there are only three days left for the end of April, yet no program has come out of it. However, the Minister of State for Agriculture is assuring money in the next 10 days.
How much money was received from December to March?
The seventh installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released on 25 December 2020. Then Prime Minister Narendra Modi released money for 9 crore farmers simultaneously. Since then, money has been sent to the bank account of 10,00,71,007 farmers. From December 2019 to March 2020, 8,95,15,225 farmers received money. Under this, farmers get Rs 6000 annually in three installments of Rs 2-2 thousand. So that they can use it in agricultural work.
Who will not get money from PM Kisan Yojana
- It is necessary to have arable land for availing benefits.
- Center or state government officials will stay out of it.
- Professional, doctor, engineer, CA, lawyer and architect will be out of the plan.
- Mayor or Zilla Panchayat President, MLA, MLC, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MP.
- Such farmers who are former or present constitutional post holders, are current or former ministers.
- In the last financial year, the farmers paying income tax will not get any benefit.
- Farmers getting pension more than ten thousand rupees are also not benefited.

- On the right side you will find the option of Farmer’s Corner.
- Click on ‘Beneficiary status’. A new page will open.
- In this, choose one of the options in Aadhaar number, bank account or mobile number.
- You can check your status through any one of them.
