In fact, the Naveen Patnaik government in Odisha runs a separate scheme of farmers. Its name is Krushak Assistance for Livelihood Income Augmentation which is abbreviated as KALIA scheme. The scheme was started by the Naveen Patnaik government in the year 2019. Under this scheme, like PM Kisan Samman, the money is transferred directly to the account of the farmers.
These money are given to the farmers by the state government to buy seeds, fertilizers and pesticides. Along with this, this scheme is also used to compensate for the rising costs in farming. The government releases the money in 2 installments. At the time of Ravi and Kharif crops, the government sends money to the account. In this, no details of farming are taken with the farmers. That is, no information is taken about how much farming you have. Every farmer is provided Rs 25,000 annually.
Not only this, the government also helps the landless agricultural laborers. Assistance of Rs 12,500 is given to such laborers every year. So that they can do any self-employment at a small level.
