PM Kisan Scheme: Not all farmers get the benefit of PM Kisan Scheme. To avail this benefit it is necessary to fulfill certain conditions.


PM Kisan Scheme: To provide relief to the farmers, Rs 6,000 is paid every year in three installments under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by the Central Government. Last month, PM Narendra Modi transferred Rs 2,000 of the 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana to the accounts of farmers. Not all farmers get the benefit of PM Kisan Scheme. It is necessary to fulfill certain conditions to avail the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

This is how you can apply for PM Kisan

Bihar Government Agriculture Department has released important information related to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The state government said, all the eligible land holding farmers, who are till now deprived of the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, can do self registration under Farmer Corner on PM Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in). You can apply online through.

Necessary conditions to take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana

  • The applicant should have agricultural land.
  • The land should be registered in the name of the applicant (before 01.02.2019).
  • The applicant’s bank account should be linked to Aadhaar and NPCI (DBT Enabled).

These farmers cannot take advantage of PM Kisan

    • Whose family member is already a beneficiary of this scheme.
    • Those who do not have their own cultivable land.
    • The age of the applicant is not earlier than 18 years as on 01.02.2019.
    • The applicant is the owner of the institutional land.
    • The applicant/other family members are NRIs.
    • Whose family members are/are holding constitutional posts.
    • Whose family members have been former/present ministers of the Centre/State.
    • Whose family member has been the Chairman of Zilla Parishad, Mayor of Municipal Corporation/present/former member of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Legislature.
    • Whose family members are working/retired officers/employees of Central/State Government departments and regional offices/public undertakings/present/former officers and employees (except Class IV employees) of any government attached/autonomous institution.
    • Whose family members are all retired employees of the institute mentioned in the above paragraph and whose monthly pension is Rs 10,000 or more (except fourth class employees).
    • Whose family member has paid income tax in the last year.
    • Whose family member is registered with a professional body related to Doctor/Engineer/Lawyer/Chartered Accountant/Architect and is practicing.
