Tractors and agricultural machines are provided to farmers by many states. The states give tractors on the prescribed subsidy as per their rules. These subsidies range from 20 to 50 percent. Under the e-Krishi Yantra Grant of Madhya Pradesh government, remarkable work is being done in this area. Farmers in Madhya Pradesh get 20 to 50 percent subsidy on tractors. Eligibility and conditions for registration in PM Kisan Tractor Scheme
- The first condition for registration in PM Kisan Yojana is that the farmer has not bought a tractor in the last seven years.
- To take advantage of this scheme, the applicant farmer must have cultivable land in his own name.
- A farmer can buy only one tractor.
- The farmers joining this scheme should not be involved in any other agricultural machinery subsidy scheme.
- Under this, only one farmer from the family can apply.
- This scheme is only for small and marginal farmers, so big farmers and landlords will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.

How to apply in this scheme
The benefit of PM Kisan Yojana is given to all the farmers of the country. The beneficiary has to apply under the scheme of his state. 25 percent subsidy on purchase of electric tractor in Haryana
In order to promote pollution-free farming in the state of Haryana, the Haryana government is also giving a discount of 25 percent on the purchase of electric tractors. In fact, the Haryana government has taken a big decision to give subsidy on electric tractors to 600 farmers of the state. For this, farmers will have to book electric tractor before 30 September 2021. According to reports, if less than 600 applications are received, then all the farmers will be given the benefit of this exemption on buying an e-tractor. On the other hand, if the number of farmers who applied is more than this, then the names will be drawn through lucky draw. 80 percent subsidy in agriculture equipment bank scheme in jharkhand
Agriculture Equipment Bank scheme is being run for small and marginal farmers in Jharkhand. Under the scheme, a mini tractor is provided with a rotavator assistive device, or a power tiller along with other small machines. At present, the benefit of this scheme is being given only to the women groups of JSLPS. This scheme is a state government scheme. Under the Krishi Yantra Yojana, mini tractors and rotavators have been given to women groups operated by JSLPS. Under this scheme, up to 80 percent subsidy is given to the beneficiary group for establishment of agricultural equipment bank.
