PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana : Many schemes are being implemented to increase the income of farmers to raise the standard of living of farmers. An example of this is the PM Kisan Yojana of the Central Government.

Mumbai: If you are a farmer and availing Rs 6,000 per annum benefit under PM Kisan Yojana, you can get Rs 12,000, but only some farmers will get this benefit.

Many schemes are being implemented to increase the income of the farmers to raise the standard of living of the farmers. An example of this is the PM Kisan Yojana of the Central Government. 6,000 is remitted to the account of eligible farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana in three installments every year, but some farmers can now get Rs 12,000.

Namo Kisan Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana

The Maharashtra government has launched the Namo Kisan Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, under which farmers are asked to pay an additional Rs 6,000 annually. 2 thousand rupees will also be paid in each installment under this. This means that the farmers will get 6 thousand rupees from the PM Kisan Yojana and 6 thousand rupees from the Maharashtra government i.e. a total of 12 thousand rupees annually. Farmers in other states cannot avail this benefit.

One and a half crore farmers will benefit

This was announced by the Maharashtra government during the budget and has now been approved by the state cabinet. It will benefit one and a half crore farmers and the Maharashtra government has kept a budget of Rs 6,900 crore. To avail this scheme, farmers need to have farm land, necessary documents like bank account details, Aadhaar card and Aadhaar card link to the account. Along with this the applicant must register with the Agriculture Department.
