PM Modi to release 12th installment
This amount to be released by the Prime Minister in this program to be held in Pusa campus will be a direct support of Rs 6,000 annually for these farmers. This will be the 12th installment to be released to the farmers under this scheme.
With this, the total amount given to the farmers under the scheme will increase to Rs 2.16 lakh crore.
PM will also present subsidized urea bags
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 600 ‘PM Kisan Samridhi Kendras’ and also introduce subsidized urea bags bearing ‘Bharat’ brand under the ‘One Nation, One Fertilizer’ scheme.
Will be sold across the country under ‘Bharat’ branch
Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar told reporters that in the biggest step taken for the fertilizer sector, all subsidized fertilizers including Urea, Di Ammonia Phosphate (DAP), MOP and NPK will be sold under the same brand ‘Bharat’ across the country. will be sold.
PM will also present ‘Bharat Urea Bag’
He told that the Prime Minister will also present ‘Bharat Urea Bag’ during the program. He said the government is making it mandatory for companies to sell subsidized fertilizers under the ‘Bharat’ brand.
Modi will release the international weekly fertilizer e-magazine ‘Indian Age’ in the ‘PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022’ to be jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Fertilizers. Apart from this, he will also inaugurate the agriculture startup program and exhibition.
Farmers get 6 thousand help annually
The PM-Kisan scheme was launched in February 2019. Under this, a small and marginal farmer is given an assistance of Rs 2,000 every month. Under this, an amount of Rs 6,000 is given in one installment for three months.
