New Delhi: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was started in the year 2018 to provide financial help to the farmers in the country.
So far, about 11 crore farmers have been linked to this scheme. The government has made another big announcement for the farmers some time back.
The government has started PM Kisan Man Dhan Yojana for the farmers. Under this scheme, every farmer will be provided an installment of Rs 3,000 per month i.e. Rs 36,000 will be provided annually to every farmer.
Only farmers registered under PM Kisan Yojana will be eligible
The Central Government has started the scheme of PM Kisan Man Dhan Yojana in the country to provide financial help to the farmers of the country.
The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial help in the form of pension every month to all the farmers of the country.
There are many small and medium farmers in the country, who are facing shortage of money. To help such farmers, the government has started this scheme.
The most important condition of this scheme is that only those farmers can take advantage of this scheme, who are already registered under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
How to take advantage of this scheme
The most important condition for registering under this scheme is that the farmer should already be registered under PM Kisan Yojana.
Only those farmers can apply for this scheme, who have less than two hectares of cultivable land. The farmers who have more land than this will not be the beneficiaries of this scheme.
There is no need for the farmer to do any kind of document to apply under this scheme.
Who will get the benefit of the scheme
All farmers above 60 years of age registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme can take advantage of this scheme.
To take advantage of this scheme, farmers will have to contribute for a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 40 years. If you are 18 years old, you will have to contribute Rs 55 and if you are 30 years old, you will have to contribute Rs 110.
To take advantage of the scheme, farmers above 40 years of age will have to donate a share of Rs 200 every month to the scheme.
