PM Modi South Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala today. During this he visited Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC). On the occasion, the PM reviewed the progress of the Gaganyaan mission and awarded astronaut wings to nominated astronauts Group Captain Prashant Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla.

No Indian going to space after 40 years

At the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, I want everyone to stand up and greet our astronauts. By 2035, India will have its own space station in space which will help us explore the unknown expanses of space. During this Amrit Kaal, an Indian astronaut will land on the lunar surface using India’s own rocket. Some time ago the country got acquainted with 4 Gaganyaan passengers for the first time. These are not just 4 names or 4 people, these are the four powers which are going to take the aspirations of 140 crore Indians to space. After 40 years, an Indian is going to space, but this time the time is ours, the countdown is also ours and the rocket is also ours.

Today’s generation is very fortunate

At the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Last year, India became the first country to hoist the tricolor flag on the South Pole of the Moon. Today Shiv-Shakti Point is introducing the entire world to India’s potential. Every nation In the journey of development, there come some moments which define the present as well as the coming generations. Today, this is such a moment for India, our present generation is very fortunate which has got historical opportunities in water, land, sky and space. The work is getting appreciated. I want everyone to stand up and greet our astronauts.
