PM Modi reached here on Saturday morning on a one-day Ayodhya visit. He reached Ayodhya railway station doing a road show from Ayodhya airport. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present with him here.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the railway station ‘Ayodhya Dham’ in Ayodhya on Saturday. He also flagged off 8 new trains, which include 2 Amrit Bharat and 6 Vande Bharat Express trains. Amrit Bharat Express is a new category of superfast passenger trains in the country. This is an ‘LHB push-pull’ train with non AC bogies. It has better facilities for railway passengers like beautiful and attractive designed seats, better luggage rack, mobile charging point, LED lights, CCTV, public information system.
One of the two new Amrit Bharat trains inaugurated by PM Modi will start from Darbhanga in Bihar and reach Anand Vihar Terminal in the capital Delhi via Ayodhya. The second Amrit Bharat Express will run between Malda Town and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru). In this way, passengers can experience traveling by Amrit Bharat trains from today. This will make the journey comfortable as well as time-saving. The Prime Minister also flagged off 6 new Vande Bharat trains today. These 6 Vande Bharat Express trains are as follows-
1. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express
2. Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express
3. Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt Vande Bharat Express
4. Mangalore-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express
5. Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express
6. Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express.

He inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station. According to the information, the first phase of the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 240 crore. The three-storey modern railway station known as Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station is equipped with all the modern facilities like lifts, escalators, food plaza, shops for puja needs, safekeeping house, child care room, waiting room.
