PM Modi on Farmers Protest: PM Modi appealed to the farmers to end the movement, said- ‘MSP was, MSP is, MSP will be’

PM Modi on Farmers Protest: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today gave his views on the farmers’ movement in Rajya Sabha. PM Modi said that instead of convincing the farmers, the opposition only did politics on this issue. Politics is dominating the movement. Without naming the Congress, PM Modi said that some people suddenly took a U-turn on this issue, which surprised me.

PM Modi on Farmers Protest:  Farmers have been agitating in Delhi for the last two and a half months against the new agricultural laws of the Central Government. Responding to the address of President Ram Nath Kovind in the Rajya Sabha today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there has been a lot of discussion about the farmer movement in the House. The maximum time that was given was told in relation to the movement. What is the movement about? Everyone remained silent on that. Which is the basic thing, it would have been good to discuss it as well. He said that politics is dominating the farmer movement. The opposition has suddenly taken a U-turn on this issue. PM Modi appealed to the farmers to end the movement.

On the farmer movement, PM Modi said, “What is the fundamental problem of farming, where is its root.” Today I want to tell about the former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Ji. He always worried about the pathetic condition of small farmers. “He said,” Those who talked about agricultural reforms suddenly backed down. Was the small farmer in the thinking of earlier governments? When we do elections, we do a program of debt waiver, is it a program of vote or debt waiver? This citizen of India knows very well. ”

Today the small farmer of the village started selling his goods in the market of Mumbai- Modi

Modi said, “After the year 2014, we made some changes, we increased the scope of the crop insurance scheme so that the farmer and the small farmer can also take advantage of it. In the last 4-5 years, claims worth Rs 90 thousand crore have been given to farmers under the crop insurance scheme. For the first time we conceived the Kisan Rail. The small farmer whose goods were not sold, today the small farmer of the village started selling his goods in the Mumbai market through the rail, this is benefiting the small farmer.

PM Modi further said, “Every law changes after some time after good suggestions. So with good suggestions to do good, we have to move forward with the preparation of good reforms. I invite all of you that we have to take the country forward, explaining the agitators, for the development of the agricultural sector, to advance the country. ”

Mandis will become more modern. It is MSP, it was SSP and it will be MSP- Modi

said, “We should see at once whether agricultural change leads to change.” If there is any deficiency, we will fix it, if there is laxity, you will tighten it. I assure that mandis will become more modern. MSP is, was SSP and will be MSP. We understand the sanctity of this house. The 80 crore people who are given ration at cheap will also be continuous.

Before this, PM Modi did not say, “It would have been nice if everyone had heard the speech of the President, the dignity of democracy would have increased, but the strength of the President’s speech was so much that even after not listening, the talk reached.”
