Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Thursday. After gifting development projects worth Rs 1583 crore to the people of Kashi, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Rudraksh Convention Center, a symbol of friendship between India and Japan. During this, PM Modi said that this convention center has been made with the help of Japan. Japan is one of our trusted friends. Kashi has got a new gift from Japan. The PM said that people from all over the world come to Banaras. Music is settled in the Rome and Rome of Banaras and it has become a global center of art. Rudraksh appeared from the eyes of Lord Shiva in the form of tears for the benefit and welfare of all. His tears are a symbol of love for human beings.

PM Modi said, ‘In the last 6-7 years, a lot of work has been done in the direction of strengthening the handicrafts and crafts of Banaras. With this, Banarasi silk and Banarasi craft are getting a new identity again. The thinking of India and Japan is that our development should be linked with our gaiety. This development should be all-round, it should be for all, and it should be all-encompassing.
The Prime Minister said, ‘Whether strategic or economic, Japan is one of India’s most trusted friends today. Our friendship is considered one of the natural partnership. Just in my last program I told the people of Kashi that this time after a long time I got the good fortune of coming among you.
