PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana: Prime Minister Shram Yogi Man-Dhan Yojana has been launched by the Government of India to support the workers of unorganized sector in old age. So far, more than 44.90 lakh workers have been registered under this scheme.
Minister of Labor and Employment Santosh Gangwar said that in order to provide protection to the workers in the unorganized sector, the Prime Minister Shram Yogi in March 2019 to provide a minimum pension of Rs 3000 after completing 60 years of age. Mann-Dhan Yojana (PM-SYM) was launched.
Under this scheme, by March 4, 2021, about 44.90 lakh workers have registered themselves. This scheme can include such workers of 18-40 years group whose monthly income is less than Rs 15,000.
How much pension will be received?
Under the PM-SYM scheme, workers have to invest different money according to different ages. An investment of Rs 55 to 200 rupees a month can be done under this scheme.
Those applying at the age of 18 in the PM Shram-Yogi Maandhan Yojana will have to pay 55 rupees every month. Those applying at the age of 30 have to pay 100 rupees and 40 years of age 200 rupees.
If a laborer has registered himself in the PM-SYM scheme at the age of 18, then he will have to deposit just Rs 660 in a year. That worker will have to invest Rs 27,720 till the age of 60 years. Workers will have to invest money for 42 years. At the age of 60, he will get 3,000 rupees every month.
This scheme of the Government of India is being run through the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Therefore, LIC will also pay pension.
How to register (PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Registration)
For registration in the Pradhan Mantri Shramayogi Maandhan Pension Yojana, the laborers will have to open their account by going to the Common Service Center (CSC center) after taking the Aadhar card, bank account passbook.
