Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued a warning to its customers to complete their KYC by April 10. Customers who fail to update their KYC details will have their accounts suspended. Know how you can do these tasks from home:
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has asked its customers to update their KYC (Know Your Customer) details. The bank (PNB) has asked customers to update their KYC details by April 10. The bank has asked account holders to complete this KYC by the stipulated deadline if they do not want any disruption in their banking services. The accounts of customers who will not be able to update their KYC information will be suspended or closed.
So if you are also a PNB customer, then definitely check whether your KYC information is updated or not. If your KYC is not done, then definitely do your KYC and save your account from being closed. You can also do KYC from home. Let us tell you the process of doing KYC from home:
Do KYC online through PNB ONE app
Step 1: For this, first download the PNB One app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Step 2: Log in with your credentials.
Step 3: Go to the KYC update option in the app.
Step 4: Check if your KYC is updated or not. If the status shows ‘Pending’ update, then click on ‘Update KYC’
Step 5: Verify your identity through OTP-based Aadhaar verification process
Step 6: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar and make sure that your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar for OTP verification. After this your KYC will be done.
Offline KYC Method
1. Visit your nearest PNB branch with original and photocopies of required documents.
2. Fill the KYC update form provided by the bank, provide the documents and wait for bank verification.
3. Once your KYC update is complete, you will receive a confirmation message from PNB.
