Police Allowance Hike by Govt: On the occasion of Independence Day, the state government has announced increase in allowances for the police personnel of the state in various ways.
New Delhi: On the occasion of Independence Day, the Madhya Pradesh government has announced to increase several allowances for police personnel and start new allowances. Due to this, the monthly salary of police personnel will also increase. Madhya Pradesh government has announced to increase petrol allowance, uniform and food allowance to the police personnel.
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan hoisted the national flag on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day on Tuesday by reaching the Red Parade Ground in Bhopal. During this, he said in his address that our police colleagues work day and night to maintain law and order in the state. He said that we have decided that the cost of 15 liters of petrol per month will be reimbursed to the police constable to sub-inspector level employees for the journey done for official work.
The Chief Minister said that we have increased the nutritious diet allowance from Rs.650 to Rs.1000 for the employees of the police department, from the constable to the officer. He said that the work of increasing the kit clothing allowance for police personnel to Rs 5000 has been done. The implementation of these announcements has started.
The Chief Minister had announced several schemes in the Police Parivar Sangam program on July 28. During this, he had said that 30% of the recruitment in the police force would compulsorily be of daughters. He said that I know very well that the daughters who are working in the police are proving themselves by fulfilling their responsibilities with full devotion.
