Recruitment will be done on so many posts
A program has been issued for recruitment to 60,244 posts of Reserve Civil Police. The youth of the state can get all the information by visiting the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Chairperson Renuka Mishra said that Chief Minister Yogi had given instructions to recruit 60,244 posts of constables in UP Police. In this sequence, recruitment notification has been issued by the board on Saturday. In this, 24,102 posts are reserved for unreserved, 6,024 posts for EWS, 16,264 posts for Other Backward Classes, 12,650 posts for Scheduled Caste, 1,204 posts for Scheduled Tribe.
Reservation given to 20 percent women
Reservation for women has also been prescribed in the notification. According to the information given in the horizontal reservation given in the notification, 20 percent reservation has been given to women out of all the posts. The application process for UP Police Constable Recruitment through online mode will start from December 27, which will continue till January 16, 2024. At the same time, the last date for fee adjustment and amendment in application is January 18.

Along with the application form, candidates will also have to deposit the application fee, which has been fixed at Rs 400 by UPPBPB. For recruitment, the minimum height of male candidates belonging to General, OBC and Scheduled Caste should be 168 cm and the minimum height of female candidates should be 152 cm. Whereas, it is mandatory for male candidates coming from Scheduled Tribe category to have a minimum height of 160 cm and for female candidates, it is mandatory to have a minimum height of 147 cm.
The examination will be conducted in several phases
To be selected in recruitment, candidates will have to first appear in the written examination. Candidates successful in the written examination will be invited for document verification and physical standard test. To apply for UP Police Constable posts, the candidate must have passed 10th and 12th class from a board established by law in India or recognized by the Government or its equivalent.
18 year old candidates can apply
At the same time, to apply for this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years. At the same time, as maximum age, the candidate should not have attained the age of 22 years, that is, the candidate should not be born before 2 July 1998 and after 1 July 2005. Relaxation in upper age will be provided to the candidates coming from reserved category.
