Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic told that all types of heavy commercial vehicles going from Ghaziabad to Hapur, Garh Mukteshwar, Amroha, Moradabad, Bareilly and beyond will not be able to go towards Hapur on NH-9.
Heavy vehicles will not be able to move from Ghaziabad towards Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad and Bareilly from 10 pm every Saturday in the month of Sawan till the completion of Jalabhishek on Monday. Due to the large number of devotees visiting Brajghat every Monday in the month of Sawan for Ganga Snan, a decision has been taken to divert heavy vehicles. While the diversion continues, heavy vehicles will be able to board the Peripheral Expressway from Dasna in Ghaziabad to reach their destinations via Bulandshahr.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Ramanand Kushwaha told that every Monday in the month of Sawan, a large number of devotees and Shiv devotees come to take bath in the Ganges at Brajghat in Hapur.
