New rates have been announced for getting pollution certificate for four wheelers. Earlier it used to cost 80 rupees to get pollution certificate and now according to the new rates, drivers will have to spend 110 rupees.

Pollution Certificate Price Hike: Now getting a pollution certificate in Delhi has become expensive. The Transport Minister of Delhi Government has announced new rates. The Delhi Government has announced new rates for getting pollution certificates for four wheelers running on petrol and CNG. Earlier it used to cost 80 rupees to get a pollution certificate and now according to the new rates, drivers will have to spend 110 rupees. Owners of diesel vehicles will have to spend 140 rupees to get a pollution certificate.

In the instructions issued by the government, it has been said that the Delhi government has increased the fee for pollution control certificate for four-wheelers running on petrol and CNG from Rs 80 to Rs 110. The fee for PUC certificate of two-wheelers and three-wheelers has been increased from Rs 60 to Rs 80, while for diesel vehicles it has been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 140.

Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said that keeping in mind the long-standing demands of the Petrol Dealers Association of Delhi and the increasing rate of pollution checking services, we decided to review the old rates. We are committed to keeping Delhi’s air clean and we will also ensure that all vehicles meet the standards set for pollution. Let us tell you that the Delhi government has increased the rates of PUC certificate after about 13 years.
