Mahila Samman Savings Scheme: Mahila Samman Savings Certificate is being operated through the Postal Department from April 1, 2023. To provide financial security to every girl and woman, the Central Government had announced the Mahila Samman Savings Certificate 2023 Scheme in the Union Budget for the financial year 2023-24.
Under this scheme, a woman can open an account on her own behalf or through a guardian on behalf of a minor girl. The highest interest rate of 7.5% per annum is given on this scheme, which will be deposited in the account on quarterly basis. Any account holder can deposit from Rs 1000 to Rs 2,00,000 annually. Mahila Samman Bachat Patra Scheme is available for 2 years till 31 March 2025.

Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Scheme has been started with the aim of encouraging women to save and to provide higher interest. This scheme was started from 1 April 2023. Only Indian women get the benefit of this scheme. Women of any age can get the benefit of Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Scheme. For this, Aadhar card, PAN card and photo are necessary documents. Government of India This is a one-time scheme. There is guaranteed income on completion of maturity. Money can be deposited in Mahila Samman Savings Patra Scheme for 2 years. In this, you get 2 years’ interest together on maturity.
How much money will you get in 2 years by investing Rs 2 lakh?
If you invest Rs 2 lakh, you will get interest of Rs 3,750 after the first quarter. After reinvesting this amount at the end of the second quarter, you will get an interest of Rs 3,820. Accordingly, when the scheme matures, a total of Rs 2,32,044 will be received.
