You will have to spend 300 rupees to get the photo printed on the Dakat ticket
Under this scheme, by depositing a nominal fee of just Rs 300, you can issue 12 postage stamps containing your photographs. These postage stamps will be valid like other postage stamps. Through these, you can also send posts to any corner of the country.

What to do to get a photo printed
You have to go to your neighborhood post office to get your photo printed. Regarding the My Stamp Scheme, the postmaster of the post office located at Mayur Vihar, Delhi, said that the My Stamp Scheme provides 12 stamps with their photos, which can be used for wedding, birthday, giving gifts. He told that with the ‘My Stamp’ scheme of the Government of India, people can issue 12 postage stamps from the Department of Posts with their photo for Rs 300.
Apart from issuing postage stamps privately, under this scheme any company or group can also issue postage stamps with a picture of their choice.
For this, they will have to issue 5,000 sheet tickets (12 tickets in 1 sheet). India Post is also offering a 20 percent discount on issuing such a number of tickets.
The cost of 5,000 sheet tickets is Rs 15 lakhs per Rs 300 per sheet (12 tickets). The department is offering a discount of 20 percent on this. After the discount, the cost of 5000 sheets will be 12 lakh rupees.
Necessary condition of printing photo on postage stamp
For issuing postage stamps containing photographs, the only condition is that the person whose photograph you want to issue stamps must be alive.
