Post Office Vacancy 2022: Job news for candidates seeking government jobs for 10th, 12th pass in the Department of Posts. Indian Postal Department is inviting online applications from eligible and interested candidates for various posts under Sports Quota Recruitment in Gujarat Postal Circle. According to the notification released by the department on October 22, a total of 188 posts of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant, Postman / Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) are to be recruited. Along with this, the department has canceled the uniform sports quota recruitment advertised on 25 October 2021.
Application Process for Postal Department Sports Quota Recruitment
To apply for recruitment to 188 posts in the Department of Posts Gujarat Circle, candidates can download the recruitment notification from the link given in the recruitment section on the official website, indiapost.gov.in or from the direct link given below and on the online application portal, dopsportsrecruitment.in can go. Under the application process, candidates will have to register in the first phase, pay the prescribed fee of Rs 100 in the second and submit their application for the respective post in the third. However, all female candidates and candidates belonging to various reserved categories will not have to pay the fee. The application process has started from 23 October and the last date is 22 November.
Eligibility Criteria for Postal Department Sports Quota Recruitment
For the posts of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Postman/Mail Guard advertised under sports quota in the Department of Posts, candidates should have passed 12th. At the same time, it is necessary to have 10th pass for multi tasking staff recruitment. Apart from this, the candidates should have participated in various level competitions in the prescribed sports/disciplines. The age of the candidates should not be more than 27 years as on 25 November 2022. The maximum age limit for MTS posts is 25 years. There will be relaxation in the upper age limit for the reserved categories candidates.
