Ghaziabad. People of the district will also be able to buy e-stamp from the post office. This facility started from Monday. Union Minister of State VK Singh inaugurated it.
Union Minister of State for Road Transport, Highways and Civil Aviation, General Dr. VK Singh launched the e-stamp on Monday from the Main Post Office located at Navyug Market. In the program, VK Singh said that taking important steps towards e-governance and Digital India, the Postal Department has given this New Year gift to 11 big districts of the state. The Union Minister said that the Stamp, Registration Department and Postal Department have started new initiatives for the convenience of the people. For the first time, people can also buy e-stamp from the post office. This system will curb black marketing of stamps. Also, people will not need to stand in line to buy stamps.
