For this, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (Labor and Employment Ministry) is going to launch an app named ‘Prayas’. Pensioners will be able to solve their problems by loading this app on the phone. The biggest advantage of this will be that pensioners will not have to appear in office in person. This app will be launched soon.
According to the officials of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the pensioners have to submit their life certificate to the pension disbursing office every year to get the pension, after which they are given pension. The pensioner has to appear in person at the authorized pension disbursement office for giving life certificate. The pensioner has to provide the life certificate issued by the principal officer of the office where he worked, to the disbursing office. As pensioners are elderly, they have difficulty in attending the disbursement office in person.

With this, many pensioners start living far away from their permanent residence with their family or due to other reasons, there is a problem in getting pension. In view of such problems of pensioners, the app is being launched. With which you will be able to provide life certificate from home.
According to the officials of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, pensioners of Central, State and other government institutions can avail this facility. Apart from this, through the app, pensioners can also transfer pension to any bank. This app will also have the facility that they will be able to pay the bills etc.
