Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Korana has no plans to levy taxes or cess. She was speaking at an event here. Meanwhile, after IDBI, the central government has decided to privatize two more banks. However, the Finance Minister remained silent about it. Although, the world economy was struggling during the Corona period, still, India found a way. Nirmala Sitharaman said that for the first time taxpayers’ money was used properly.

The Finance Minister said that to meet the needs of the country, there should be 20 institutions like State Bank. Since then, there has been heated debate about the privatization of banks. The Modi government has set a target of raising Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand crore through disinvestment. After IDBI Bank, two more banks are expected to be privatized. Leading the list are Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda.

– There was talk in the media about taxing Corona, but we do not know why. But Nirmala Sitharaman did not consider any such tax.
