Priyanka said in this assembly that women need power, not empowerment. Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and American poet Amanda Gorman were also present in this conference, with whom the actress also posed for pictures. In the year 2016, Priyanka Chopra was made the ambassador of Global UNICEF Goodwill. Priyanka has been associated with this organization for a long time. Priyanka shared many pictures of the conference on her Insta handle. She also expressed her gratitude for being a part of this conference. While sharing the pictures, she wrote about Amanda Gorman in the caption. Priyanka wrote, “And as the incredible Amanda Gorman said – I challenge you to shape our destiny. Priyanka says in her address, “I grew up in India, where access to education is a challenge for many girls, as in many other parts of the world, where children want to learn, but don’t have to. Challenges happen. I believe that education is just the cornerstone of equality, social justice, social change and democracy.” While sharing her photo with Amanda Gorman and Malala Yousafzai, the actress writes, “So proud to be sharing the stage with these two wonderful ladies”.
