In this, he has shared many stories related to his professional life to personal life. Also, he told how he too has faced casting cout in Bollywood.
Neena reveals casting couch
Neena Gupta reveals that the producer demanded her to spend the night in return for a role in a film. He wrote in his book, “Is there a casting couch in Bollywood and did I have to sit (sleeping? Feel uncomfortable) on it? So the answer is yes, it does exist in Bollywood.” Nina mentioned an incident in her book. He told, one day my friend asked to go to a big producer. He was making big South films. He was on tour for a few days and was staying at Hotel Sun and Sand.”
The producer called in the room,
Neena further wrote, ‘After reaching the hotel, I called the producer from the lobby itself. He said, yes, yes, I was waiting for you. come up I felt awkward when he called me into the room. My mind has told me not to go upstairs to the room and I have to ask him to come downstairs to the lobby. However, Nina did not do this. Because she didn’t want to miss any work opportunity. After that Neena asked the producer what is her role. On this, the producer told that he has to play the role of heroine’s friend. Nina did not like this role.
The producer asked to spend the night
, Neena told him, ‘Ok. I should go now sir. My friends are waiting.’ After which the producer told him in a surprising way, ‘Where should we go? Aren’t you going to spend the night here?” Hearing this from the producer, Nina felt as if someone had poured ice water on her. Neena wrote, ‘My blood went dry after hearing this.’ Neena left immediately after listening to the producer.
Talking about Neena Gupta’s upcoming project Work Front, Neena Gupta’s film ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ was released recently. Actor Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh are in lead roles in this film. Apart from this, Neena Gupta will be seen in Vikas Bahl’s directorial venture ‘Goodbye’. In this film, Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna and Pavel Gulati will be seen in lead roles with him.
