People will not have to wait long for property related work in Delhi, because now they will be able to get the work done by taking online appointment in any Sub Registrar office.Delhi Government is going to start this facility under the Anywhere Registration Policy regarding property registration.Revenue Minister Atishi said that now people from South Delhi will be able to register their property in the sub-registrar offices of East Delhi and North Delhi people will be able to register their property in the sub-registrar offices of South Delhi.
In a press conference held at the Delhi Secretariat, Atishi said that complaints were being received for a long time that in some sub-registrar offices there is a lot of crowd and in some places it is completely less.There were also complaints that there was corruption in many sub-registrar offices.There are middlemen outside the offices, who demand money.Taking cognizance of these, the government has approved the Anywhere Registration Policy.Under this, the obligation to go to a specific sub-registrar office for property related work will be eliminated.People will be able to register by taking online appointment in any of the 22 sub-registrar offices of Delhi as per their convenience.Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has approved it and sent the file to LG for issuing notification.
Now they will be called Joint Sub Registrars. Atishi said that all the Sub Registrars will now work as Joint Sub Registrars and their jurisdiction will be in entire Delhi. All sub-registrars will be allowed to view every property online.
