Property tax: Municipal Corporation is organizing a special camp for property tax at the end of the financial year, the corporation has released the schedule.
Property tax: If you have not paid property tax then this is a golden opportunity for you. Municipal Corporation is coming to your door for tax collection. Municipal Corporation Gurugram Commissioner Dr Narhari Singh Bangar said that all property owners located in the corporation area should check their property tax data by visiting the NDC portal and ensure to verify the data themselves.
The Municipal Commissioner said that Municipal Corporation Gurugram is organizing special camps in different areas every day to help the property owners. In these camps, facilities for self-verification of property data including correction of errors and deposit of property tax are being provided.
Giving information about the camps to be held in the coming days, he said that Municipal Corporation Gurugram will organize camps in Jalvayu Vihar Sector-30 on March 28, Hivo-2 Apartment Sector-56 on Friday, March 29 and Block-K of DLF Phase-2 on Saturday, March 30. Special camps will be organized at the Community Center located at Gwal Pahari and on Sunday 31st March at Valley View Estate Gwal Pahari.
He said that the current financial year is ending on March 31. Property owners who have not yet paid property tax should ensure to pay it as soon as possible by self-certifying the property data. After this, interest at 18 percent annual rate will be charged on property tax and the process of sealing and auctioning the property can also be adopted. Since the benefit of interest waiver and 15 percent discount is being given now, hence make sure to pay your property tax before March 31.
