All institutions including banks will come under its purview.

Orders have been issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Under which voting for the assembly general elections is to be held on 17th November in the entire Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, a public holiday has been declared. It was also announced by the state government that November 17, the day of voting for the Assembly General Elections 2023, will also be a general holiday in the entire Madhya Pradesh.

The people of the state can exercise their franchise. For this, the government has declared a public holiday. With the announcement of general holiday, the order will be equally effective in government and private sector and no salary and allowances etc. will be deducted for the holiday. There will be holiday in schools from 1st to 12th including colleges and Anganwadi centres.

Let us tell you that elections will be held simultaneously for all 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Voting will take place on all the seats on November 17. For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, the facility of voting from home is being provided to the elderly above 80 years of age and the disabled. The parties have also announced their candidates. Nomination forms will be filled till 30th October while scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on 31st October. Names can be withdrawn till November 2.
