Importance of Lakshmi Puja

Calendar of 5 days of Diwali
Dhanteras (29 October 2024): It is considered auspicious to buy gold and silver jewellery and utensils on this day. The time of worship will be from 6:30 pm to 8:12 pm.
Narak Chaturdashi (30 October 2024): It is also called Chhoti Diwali. On this day there is a tradition of lighting a lamp in the name of Yamraj.
Deepawali (1 November 2024): This is the main festival, in which Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are worshipped.
Govardhan Puja (2 November 2024): On this day, puja is performed related to the story of Lord Krishna lifting the Govardhan mountain. It is also known as Annakoot.
Bhai Dooj (3 November 2024): On this day, the festival of celebrating the brother-sister relationship is celebrated. Sisters pray for the long life of their brothers.
