Public Holiday: All Government Offices Closed On the occasion of World Tribal Day, the Rajasthan government has declared a public holiday. During this time, schools and colleges as well as banks and all government offices will remain closed in the entire state. Actually, on this day, people of the tribal community organize various programs. This is the reason why the government has declared a public holiday on this day.
All Government Offices Closed According to the government calendar, there will be 13 holidays in the month of August including nine holidays on Saturdays and Sundays. This also includes World Tribal Day on 9 August Friday. Talking about other days, Independence Day, Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami holidays are included.
There will be a half day holiday today as well
Today, i.e. on 7th August, the Rajasthan government has declared a half day holiday. Actually, Teej procession takes place in the capital Jaipur, so the Rajasthan government has issued orders for a half day holiday. Under which, there will be a half day holiday in all the offices, schools, colleges and banks of the state.
