Public Holidays: Holiday on November 12
After Diwali, Igas festival is on November 12, which is known as Budhi Diwali. Also, under the Raipur South Assembly by-election 2024, holiday has been declared in government and private schools with polling centers on November 12 before the polling day. For the by-election, voting material will be distributed to the polling parties on November 12 and they will be sent to the polling station.
Holiday on November 13
Public holiday has been declared in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on November 13. Private and government schools will remain closed on this day due to South Assembly elections. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed. A day before, on November 12, government and private schools with polling centers will remain closed.
Holiday on November 15
Guru Nanak Jayanti is going to be celebrated in the month of November itself. On November 15, all schools and colleges in Chhattisgarh along with offices will also remain closed. Apart from this, there is also Kartik Purnima and Guru Parv. On this day also there is a government holiday in some states. Schools, colleges, banks etc are going to remain closed.
