As per the instructions of Yogi Adityanath on January 22, educational institutions will remain closed in Uttar Pradesh in view of the Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. Also, liquor shops will also remain closed in the entire state on that day.
Ram Mandir: The date of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony for Ram temple in Ayodhya is very near. Some states have declared a public holiday on the day of this celebration. On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the statue of Ram Lalla. A grand ceremony will be organized in Ayodhya on this day. Many VVIPs of the country are going to participate in this program. Officials from the government to the Ram Mandir Trust are working whole-heartedly to make it historic. Ram Mandir Trust has made elaborate arrangements to welcome and honor all the VVIPs who will witness the occasion. They will also be provided with special gifts.
The primary ritual of Ram Lalla’s consecration will be performed by a team of priests led by Laxmikant Dixit on January 22. A main attraction is the revered Ram Raj Mitti from the temple as a souvenir for the guests. This sacred gift, symbolizing divine grace, can be used in home gardens or flower pots, enhancing the spiritual ambiance. Madhya Pradesh- Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has declared school holiday on 22 January in Madhya Pradesh. People are being encouraged to celebrate this day like a festival. While issuing orders to keep liquor and cannabis shops closed, Mohan Yadav has also declared January 22 as ‘dry day’ in the state. He said, “Keeping in mind the public sentiments, we have decided that January 22 will be a ‘dry day’ in the state. Liquor and cannabis shops will remain closed.
Goa – The Goa government has also announced a holiday for government employees and schools on January 22 in view of the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya on January 22, Live Mint reports. “There will be a public holiday only for government employees along with schools,” Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said after the cabinet meeting.
Chhattisgarh- The Chhattisgarh government has declared a holiday on January 22 in all government schools and colleges in the state to celebrate the consecration ceremony of the idol at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced this on social media. He wrote, “The whole world knows Siyaram. I salute you as much as I can. There will be a holiday in all government and non-government schools and colleges of Chhattisgarh on January 22, the day of establishment of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Haryana- Haryana government has also announced to keep schools closed on January 22 in view of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha. Also, consumption of alcohol will not be allowed anywhere in the state on the day of the Pran Pratistha ceremony.
