Public holiday declared on Wednesday, banks will remain closed for 15 days in September, see full list of holidays

Public holiday: In the month of September, banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in all the states of the country, which includes the weekly holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sunday.

Public holiday: On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, all private and government banks in the state of Assam are going to remain closed. However, other states will function normally. Actually, Tirubhav Tithi of Srimanta Sankardev is falling on Wednesday, so there will be a public holiday in the banks of Assam state. Let us tell you that only three Republic Day (26 January), Independence Day (15 August), and Gandhi Jayanti (2 October) have been declared national holidays by the central government. Apart from this, in the month of September, there will be a total holiday in banks for 15 days in all the states of the country, which also includes weekly holidays on second and fourth Saturdays and Sunday. In the month of September, banks will remain closed on Tirubhav tithi of Srimanta Sankardeva, Ganesh Chaturthi, First Onam, Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad, Indrajatra/Eid-e-Milad, Pang-Lhabsol, Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi, Sri Narayana Guru Samadhi Day and Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s birthday.
