Public Holiday 2025: This is important news for the students and government employees of Punjab. They will get two days of government holiday in the month of March, due to which schools, colleges and government offices will remain closed.
Actually, two government holidays are coming this month. On the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, a holiday has been declared in the state on March 23. However, since this day is falling on Sunday, it will already be a public holiday.

Apart from this, there will also be a government holiday on March 31 due to the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. Schools, colleges, government offices and other educational institutions will remain closed on this day. Eid-ul-Fitr is on Monday and there will already be a holiday on March 30 (Sunday). In this way, there will be a government holiday for two consecutive days (30 and 31 March) in the state.
