Public Holiday: If you have any important work related to government office or bank in the month of August, then finish it by tomorrow (14th August). After this, there is going to be a long list of holidays. In Chhattisgarh, government offices are closed on Sunday as well as Saturday.

Whereas, there is also a bank holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays. According to this, there are holidays in the offices after 15th August in the month of August. It is possible that some of your work will be done only after 20th August. Although there is no government holiday on 16th August, but in the meantime, if any government official is on leave, then the work may get stuck.

There is a national holiday on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August. There will be a holiday on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th. Raksha Bandhan is on 19th. In this way, government work will not be done till 10:30 am on 20th August.

Banks are closed for 6 days

After 15th August, banks will also remain closed for 6 days. Banks will remain closed on 15th, 18th and 19th. After this, banks will remain closed for 3 consecutive days next week, 24th August being Saturday and 25th August being Sunday. Banks will remain closed on 26th August, Monday due to Janmashtami.
